**Another One Bites The Dust**

Well, I've lost another one!! Yesterday the friend count was at 181 and this morning it's down to 180. Here I am still questioning what did I do wrong. And I know I shouldn't let this bother me, but unfortunately it still does!
Again, I am sorry for not visiting with all of you very much lately, but my life is full and hectic at the moment! I am moving 400 miles away next week, so I won't be blogging much in the next few weeks.
So to all of you that are hanging in there with me, I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!
I am sorry to rant and rave about this again, but I am a bit sad at loosing another follower. I honestly don't know what to do.

Anyway, enough of me! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Summer before all of the kiddos start back to school. My little one will be starting the first grade 2 weeks after our move. I'm so nervous for him, but he'll do great!!
Again thanks to my friends who follow me even when I'm boring or absent from my blog, your what matters!
Sincerely,
Melinda

P.S.  I know the photos have nothing to do with this post, but I just can't write a post without photos. ;<)

  1. I know it hurts Melinda but this is what I have realized, some people follow to just book mark for an idea and then move on. Some follow only in hopes of you following them and when you don't they drop off and others well that story is for another day.
I wish you luck and you have enough on your plate to worry about. If I could shout from the roof tops about how great you are as a person and artist I would sweetie.
Focus on all that is good and it will come back to you.
Just think in a few weeks you will be happier than ever :)

  2. Oh honey, don't worry so about the ones you loose for they were not worth the worry. Concern yourself with the ones that stay. I would follow you twice if that would make you feel better. You have your family to think of, we who have been really following know this and are waiting for new stories and pictures to come when you have more time. Get packing, you have new adventures to come.

  4. If my followers list went down I'd be bummed too. All I can say is I'm so glad you posted pictures today because I love them! I'm looking forward to more just like them. I'm sorry you feel bad, when I got such a lift from YOU! You haven't done a thing wrong--it's a HUGE looking-glass world and it's no reflection on you! Jacqueline

  5. It happens to us all. I just added you to my blog roll the other day, if that makes you feel any better. I found you listed on some other blog I read that particular day, maybe Cabin & Cottage. I liked what I saw and added you. All I can say is that it's usually about commenting and reciprocating. Best advice I have.

  6. Wanted to add this: When I have to add word verification, that sometimes is what breaks the camels back for me. I like it easy! I've never used word verification in nearly three years of blogging.

I know it is hard NOT to gage your worth about what you do when you put everything out there for the WHOLE world to see!!It's a vulnerable place we bloggers put ourselves in!! Keep your chin up..you are GOOD ENOUGH!!And I LOVE you and wont drop you..I promise!!Keep being the FAB wife and mother that you are and need to be!!The world will wait!!XOXO

  10. Hey you,

Your Wonderful. Just smile and keep on going. Life is wonderful and it is more exciting that you are in it. It doesn't matter if you have to take a whole year off. Life happens outside of this blog world. This is just a wonderful way for us kindred spirits to connect with each other and share our lives and creativeness with each other quicker than what a letter in the mail would take.
However, I personally love the idea of taking the time to put pen to paper on a sweet piece of wonderful stationary, and then waiting in anticipation and excitement for the day when I will hear back from a long distance friend.
I know I will be here still waiting friend, even if that blog letter takes a long time.
You have a Wonderfully and Curiously Enchanted Day,
    Wendy from Wonderland

  14. Good luck with your move! I have moved half way across the country before, so I know it's very hard! Please don't worry about your lost follower, we all lose them and it could be for so very many reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with wonderful you!

  15. I know how you feel. This has happened to me a couple times. I couldn't figure out who it was. I don't even know how to drop from following someone and I don't want to know.
You have a beautiful blog and make beautiful jewerly. You are an inspiration to me and my 18 yr old daughter who is starting to make jewerly.
I try not to take it to heart.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving me a comment.
    Enjoy your week!

  16. Oh Melinda it really cannot be anything to do with you. You are really just a wonderful person with so much talent and inspiration to share her in blog land. I know it's easy to say but try not to fret over it, like I tell my kids, stand up tall, dust yourself off and move forward. You have enough on your plate to worry about this. Enjoy the plans of your future with your family and your new home. Take care, Theresa
p.s. I always need to add a picture too! Yours are beautiful!

  17. I agree with Amy, your first commenter today. Do not think you did anything wrong ~ bloggers understand that other bloggers get busy with every day life so I do not think it was because you didn't visit every day. Cheer up ~ there will be a new follower real soon!

    I enjoy it all!!

  18. I know just how you feel and yes i would be so stressed over it ...but really it should not matter. It is so hard to constantly visit and leave comments on all the blogs we follow isn't it? I find that i visit all my friends blogs every single day but i don't always leave a comment because well sometimes i am just too tired have too many read and it takes time doing the word thing. I have a friend who wants to do a blog and i said its great but sooo stressful having to keep up with all the posts everyone does. Some blogs do a post every day and i don't always get to it right away and i think oh no i havent commented!!
Don't worry Melinda we are all human and we can't please everyone!
I love the photos especially the way you displayed the linens!!

  20. Don't worry about it Melinda... you have a beautiful blog, and I know I love visiting to see your beautiful pictures and see what you're up to. I love both pictures, but especially the second one! It's a little collection of everything I find beautiful!
Best wishes to your little man... they always seem to handle it better than we do. I'm beginning to learn this myself. :)
    Have a good night,
    ~ Jo

  22. Oh I don't think you should waste energy worrying about it. It is their loss, and your blog is beautiful and interesting.
    Good luck with your move!

  23. Don't be sad!! It will rise! I know I have had to drop a blog now and then, it gets hard to manage so many even if I LOVE them!!

  24. There is a saying that I can't quite remember about people who come into your lives for a long time, short time, I did have it on my email but not sure what I did with it. It is lovely and explains why some people just drift away.
I don't think I have any followers, just people commenting on my comments that I leave on their blogs.
Happy times ahead with your moving, you must be so excited, I know I would be.
All the very best to you all, hugs Sandi xx

  25. Don't fret over a lost number, what's important is that your blog is amazing. You'll win some, and you'll lose some. I'm glad I'm following!

  26. Don't take it personal, darlin. People move on, change interests or lose their homes, businesses and life changes. For many it is hard to be concerned with blogging, when things are in total chaos. Sometimes it isn't about you and how many friends follow you. A lot of us read without being followers. It only matters that you are enjoying what you do. You have a lovely blog and I enjoy visiting.
