Hi all, hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had a busy few days painting and moving into my new space at Country Roads. It was a bit difficult due to the Orange street fair, but I got most of it done thanks to my amazing husband!!
I took a few photos of how it's looking so far, but believe me it's not even close to being finished, I'm not happy with how it looks yet, I just can't seem to get it right!
I just found a beautiful antique cabinet today for an amazing price to house my pillows and such, which hopefully I can get in the next couple of weeks. I'm also frantically trying to find a glass cabinet for all of my jewelry, but so far no luck!

I painted the walls "Light French Gray" by Behr, but I'm thinking it might have turned out a little too blue.
Can anyone recommend a paint color in a pale gray?
Please excuse the ugly mattress behind the table. These barn doors are so fantastic in my space!!
I also have this great vintage door and window, I think it really adds to the charm of the space.
Thanks again to Sue and her Country Roads family, they have all been so warm and welcoming to me and I am so thrilled to be apart of such an amazing shop!!!
Have a great week.
Sincerely,
Melinda

Congrats Melinda!!
ReplyDeleteI seriously can't wait to get there and see it all!
It is hard to see the blue in pictures it does look gray.
But I know how it is when you want something just right.
You can't disappoint, your style is flawless and so romantic!
Have fun and just let the natural ability flow.

I love all of it!!! Oh and I painted one of the rooms in my home a light pale gray called "Ashwood Grey" by Benjamin Moore. It looks "white" when you open up the can, but it's actually a very calming gray. A least to me, depending on how much light will be hitting it. ;) Anyway, hope you had a splendid 3-day weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteXO's,

I love the vintage feel of the space, and you're right, the barn doors are killer! As for the color it is a little blue-gray, but I like it! Patti

Looks a little blue( pretty but blue) - since you've already moved in your pretties, removing them to paint makes the whole job to involved (for me). Just all a tad bit of orange(or something in the red family like your pink pillows) accessories and blow out the corners with up lights to warm up the blue/white you have going on.
