Hi all, I hope your having a great weekend so far. Just wanted to do a real quick post here today.
Little glimpses of my bedroom for the holidays. I added the teal velvet pillows to my bed for a pop of color. I got these from Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic about 7 years ago.
My favorite chandelier~
I need to find some evergreens or a couple of rosemary trees to go in my lavabo. This was my Christmas present from hubby last year. He found it at Debra Hall Lifestyle. Debra always has the most gorgeous antiques!!
And a simple table setting for Thanksgiving. The napkins with the wonderful red stripes are actually towels from Ikea. Only 79 cents a piece and perfect for messy faces and hands!
Well, that's all for now. I'll talk to you all next week and have a lovely Sunday!!~
Sincerely,
Melinda

Love the gray pillows and you table setting Melinda.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky lady you are to have a hubby that can pick out such a perfect present as well!!!!

Hi Melinda, Your table setting for Thanksgiving is so elegant in its simplicity. Your photo is gorgeous! I, too, like your chandelier. Your home always has such a peaceful and calming affect on me.

Wow - I can't believe those napkins are from IKEA. I'm gonna have to make a trip to get some. Your home is always lovely!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet comment Melinda !
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you a secret. My husband rarely build anything, and often we both scratch our heads and ask ourselves how we can solve the problem. But two heads think better than one, so most of the time we solve it! I say teamwork :)
I love pillows too, they immediately make a room look pretty. When I look at your beautiful photos from the bedroom, I think that I should have made more out of ours. Sadly, It's kind of the last room that gets priority in this house.
Wish you a great start to the new week, hope you had a lovely weekend too.

So lovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! I love those towels too! I have a whole bunch can't beat the price! -kinda funny-my blog post tonight mentioned both Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic and IKEA! ;)

Beautiful, Melinda! Looks like I need to head up to Ikea, I love those towels. When I saw "Ikea" followed by those gorgeous pillows I thought, "could it be...really...from Ikea???" Of course not. They are gorgeous from RASC. Your bed looks so inviting. Love your photos as always!
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to find a lavabo last summer. When I proudly brought it home, my husband said, "you got a(n?) urinal??" I was like, "what??" the sign said vintage french sink!" He said they can put up whatever they want and it is a urinal. In retrospect the back does go up a lot higher and the bottom has many small holes, not one big one. I'm going to be using it outside, not in :) Your true lavabo looks beautiful and how fun to dress it up for the season.

Very pretty.... I am a huge Ikea fan. Don't they have a LOT of really fun and inexpensive things?? Right now they also have pink plaid towels... They are so stinking cute. I only bought one package, but I'm determined to go back and get more.
ReplyDeleteAll the Best...
